Golden Hiapfatt Quarry & Premix (Sarawak) was originally founded as a Partnership Company in 1984 under the name, Hiap Fatt Trading Company. As a contractor of Flexible and Rigid Pavement works, we were involved in the JKA Water Mains as one of the sub-contractors.
Later in 1992, our partnership was converted into a limited company with a change in the company name to Golden Hiapfatt Sdn. Bhd. (GHSB). GHSB has since completed 40 projects in Malaysia, one of the more prominent projects being the construction of the 2nd Runway of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in 1997.
In 1998, we ventured into India's construction industry to partake in the Mumbai-Pune Expressway project in Maharashtra following the incorporation of the IJM-SCL Joint Venture. Since then, we have completed 8 projects in total around India, producing a total of 16 Million (160 Lakhs) metric tons (mt) of aggregate crushing.
